If they allow a pace where the final score approaches 130 points for each team they aren't good enough to beat Indiana.

As in most matchups in most sports, whoever can dictate terms normally has a large advantage.

Once Minnesota couldn't take advantage of one of the best "role player games" I've ever seen in game 4 at home I figured they were gonna get ran in game 5. No way were they getting a repeat of that performance on the road facing elimination.

You’re just fabricating statements to argue with yourself. I never once said it is the best watch of all sports.

Literally just don’t watch if you hate it. Stop coming to yap on a message board after hate watching.
I was simply just reacting to a Knicks loss with no defense. An off hand comment doesn't mean I'm hate watching. I just call it like it is.

They're not that good, just like the Celtics weren't that good. OKC i the only really good team, the Pacers could give them a 6 game series.

?? I think you are missing some punctuation and maybe a word or two.

Fixed, I was driving btw when I made the previous post so had to be more attentive to the road.

The Celtics were injured and unfocused, but had the talent to repeat.

It's all a part of the game, could've, should've, would've.
No doubt. Staying on the court and effective is just as much of a skill as scoring, rebounding, and passing.

Haliburton's bad games are egregiously bad, he's gotta become more consistent
It’s weird, in the season too he goes thru long stretches averaging like 15-8, which is fine but like nowhere near his level.

yesterday was the 6th time in the last 2 playoff runs that he's scored 10 or less points, gotta be better as a "star"

Knicks can't convert a single fastbreak, it's pretty remarkable.

Turns out consistently giving the ball to the other team for fast breaks doesn't work. I've also never seen a team give up so many fast breaks off of made baskets, the Knicks defense was inconceivably bad this year

Glad Siakim got MVP. He shows up every game, underrated player for many years now.

looking forward to the Finals, they've been the 2 best teams in 2025 so no flukes. OKC will win but I think Indy will be competitive, they're probably one more scorer/creator short of winning a title.

This series should be a lot of fun, both teams want to push the ball and each goes deep enough where there should be a few games where both score in the 130's.

I also will point out that a high paced game with a good amount of transition scoring doesn't mean nobody is playing defense. I still cannot stand what Chuck Daley did to the game with the bad boy Pistons. There easily can be a better defended game that ends up 126-121 than a 48 minute wrestling match that ends up 87-81.
