2025 NBA Draft Thread

Why all these swaps of players already picked? Why didn’t the team who picked first pick who they wanted when they had the choice? Is there nothing else but the swaps happening?

A couple of mocks had McNeeley at 25 to Orlando, so we'll see if that's the pick.

Most of the trades are agreed to before the earlier pick of the swap, they just don't announce them to the crowd right away and sometimes can't become official until later.

It ain’t looking good for our boy…..I believe he made a mistake
Hindsight 20/20 but def looking that way. There are still a lot of guys on the board that were slated at about his level or even above.

Personally I think the concerns with him are defensively - kid was a road cone.

Have we seen a UConn player drop this hard on draft day? Liam drops to second certainly gonna have an interesting UConn legacy.

Clearly you aren’t old enough to remember Uncle Cliffy

Was not hindsight on my part……as you say he can’t defend a mannequin and the injury clearly set him back

I'm sorry but Liam just didn't show enough during the past season. I fully appreciate the injury and it did play a big part.
I am not one to say ignore the $ and stay in school. However, NIL $ is pretty damn good for someone of his ability and another full season could have helped him. He is ending up in AK area soon
He is young and has the potential to be very good. I truly wish him the best.

Cliff Robinson

Say what now?
I'll spare you from going down the same rabbit hole I'm digging, but the point was all these great genes are going to waste. We don't get to have a Taurasi Jr or Bird Jr.

It's a national travesty!

Should have reinjured his ankle for the season after the Creighton game
