2025 NBA Draft Thread

A lot of our fans were very arrogantly dismissed by the 2 bozos who host the UConn spaces for daring to suggest it made sense for him to come back. Most of the games they just flat out ignored Liam's unimpressive performances and effects of the injury (while HAMMERING Karaban for his struggles).

Perhaps if a more honest conversation was had...

Wasn't a lot of the chatter on here that Liam NEEDED to go to the NBA draft given he was so highly rated coming out of HS, and UConn needed to show they could take 1 and done's and do really well by them? That it actually hurt our recruiting in the long run if he stayed? Or maybe I'm misremembering...

Also didn't Liam spend time at the combine and working out etc. for other teams so they could see what he could show? It's not like his skill level is a mystery...

I watched the '89 draft. Portland told Cliff Robinson that they would take him with their 1st round pick. They didn't. He was the last player sitting in the green room. By the time Portland drafted him in Round 2, he was back at his hotel room.

Liam will be a better pro than Kon. I have no doubt.
 
I will be both so sad and so mad for Liam if he slips to round 2. I would imagine if that info was made clear to him, he would have returned. A massive f up by his agent and team.

I mean I love Liam and think he will be better in the NBA than college, but literally every statistic shows Kon is better. Liam may end up better, but Kon is definitely a better player now and a better prospect at the moment. Let’s be real here.

The academy.

The kid in the family I lived with during a year in Italy joined Benetton Treviso when he was 7 as a PG. He never grew past 5'8".
 
I’ve been working and not watching…but, ughhhh this ain’t good. Esp after Boston just passed.
