2025 MLB Playoffs Thread

Never liked Glasnow when he was with the Pirates. Mentally weak once he got into trouble. Wife really thinks he's a baby.

If I was GM of a team certain to head to the postseason and I had one iffy OF spot, one of the first calls I would make at the deadline would be for Kike Hernandez. Basically a mediocre OF In the regular season who turns into an All Star in the postseason. He's done it for a decade now.
I loved Kike on the Red Sox. Unfortunately they switched him to short due to Story injury and he had too many throwing errors.

He is also married to a woman who was Miss Universe Puerto Rico. Charmed life.

If Gimenez’s hit was just a smidge over to the right that would’ve been a single. Schneider needs to get Clement home.

Davis Schneider reminds me of Kurt Rambis. Just needs tape on glasses.

Needed some insurance there. Nice job by Snell.

Here we go. I'm not feeling comfortable the Jays have this salted away.

He's had as many key hits this postseason as Ke'Bryan Hayes has had the past three years.
I remember 2 weeks ago when my Yankees seemingly couldn’t get him out I was pissed. I kept thinking “who the hell is this no-namer guy getting all these hits?!” Well he ain’t a no-namer anymore.

This is why I really wanted Clement to score. My jaw just dropped like this.

Hoffman probably too concerned about Ohtani and gave up HR to Rojas. What were odds of that HR?
Very much so. I thought he should have thrown a high fast ball and Rojas would have swung and missed.

All the big money players and Hall of Famers and Miguel Rojas saves the day for the Dodgers. What a World Series.

Vlad, Bichette, and Barger coming up.

I don't take Bichette out there. Reminds me of the 18 inning game. Win with your stars.

bottom 9th, Bichette can't run. I support the move.

Your philosophy leads to Bill Buckner staying on the field so he could celebrate.
