I think the Blue Jays had a way better chance of tying or winning that game in extras with Bichette up and a runner on second with no outs.

I just watched the late innings of game replay. It’s inexcusable that IKF didn’t have bigger lead. He should have scored if he ran and not slid. Will Smith was already stretching for throw with foot on right front corner of plate when IKF initiated slide. Just terrible base running by IKF preventing him scoring and Jays winning.

2025 MLB season is over which is a bit depressing. Baseball begins again for me with UConn baseball in February.

I wouldn't exactly say they were stretching Hoffman out, he threw 4 pitches in the 7th inning to get his 1 out
