Wow, I was only expecting Braylon to make it with Darius at maybe 50/50 odds of making it.

Wow, I'm surprised. Adams and Reibe were borderline guys and we've never had those kind of prospects make the game. Not that they didn't deserve to make the game but I think the UConn name is now carrying a lot of weight.

Quite the coup - unprecedented stuff for the program, awesome to see. Thanks for sharing. Leading the list on this is a nice view, maybe Duke takes that if they land Ament. The 3 undecided on the West all strongly tied to Arizona.
Interesting is that this is top 24, both Adams & Reibe were outside of the top 25 on 247. Curious to the criteria.

The composite has Mullins at 15, Adams at 22, Reibe at 27.
UConn only had 3 McD All Americans for the entire 90s if I am not mistaken (Donyell, Rip, and Khalid).

It’s funny how in a lot of these missing years we had 5* players but they weren’t in the game for one reason or another.
2005 - Andrew Bynum (if you want to count him lmao)
2006 - Stanley Robinson
2010 - Roscoe Smith (actually not sure if 5* but it was a battle with Duke to get him)
2011 - Deandre Daniels and Andre Drummond
2014 - Daniel Hamilton
