Tampa is nice in December (been here 12 years), however if you are planning to attend the bowl game, know that public schools are on break for two weeks, starting 12/22, so the weekend of the game might be a lil crazy. Stadium is 15 mins from airport, with a bunch of hotels along the route. Right now we're ping ponging btw 60s to mid 70s. I was lucky to see the NYE/NYD SEC/B10 bowl game a few times. Sat near the B10 fans and band and it was really fun.

Fenway Bowl vs Clemson. That's my prediction . You heard it here first.

I just booked my hotel room in Boston (with easy cancellation) just in case we end up in Fenway. If it’s Pinstripe, that should be an easy train ride. I would expect/hope Metro North to run UConn trains directly to THE Stadium. Other locations will require a wait and see. I’d love to fly down to Florida, if I can make it work around family holiday events and work, it’s 4th quarter closing time for us.

In the next 6 weeks, any player considering the portal has to complete finals, look for openings at other programs, visit those programs, negotiate NIL, apply and enroll, then move.

Training for and playing in a meaningless game, in which you could get hurt and blow up your new ride, is beyond dumb.

There will be fewer bowl games going forward and fewer championship games. Now that champs are guaranteed a bye, they are pointless. All that can happen is you steal a bid from one of your better schools.
