I might could be able to live with Fortin as a G. I'd much rather see him as the 6th or 7th lineman on short yardage situations but as long as his job isn't snapping the ball, that's a win.

We got blown up with a smallish Center last year. Young man had better be super quick to gain position on bigger guys or plays just fall apart.

Outside of that a lot of new names and faces and they probably came in hungry trying to prove themselves. We'll be very hard to plan for in the first couple of weeks because nobody, not even the coaches can 100% know what to expect. This will test the entire staff during games making adjustments on the fly. Will be interesting for sure. But there should be more talent and more depth. Nice to see some flashes at LB for a change and the d-line seems set. Hopefully enough depth there to rotate guys and stay fresh or better yet 3 and get off the field. Maybe we have a shot against Maryland but the o-line has to be solid against a tough D.

Coach Brock's been screaming a lot already it seems... He sounded hoarse in that interview... or he naturally sounds like the former HC at LSU ( Ed Orgeron )

Just get three guys in there so the five linemen can start working as a unit. I really don't want these guys lining up against Maryland trying to figure it out or getting comfortable with the guy lined up next to them.

I'm really disappointed by the media presence so far this camp. Yesterday's practice was open to media, and Storrs Central got an interview with Mora and Stan Cross, but besides that seems no one was even there. We used to get tweets with observations on how players were looking. How can guys be getting paid to cover the team and not show up/provide content when they've got the opportunity?

All the usuals were there -Arruda (Courant}, Adamec (Hearst) and Keefe (Day) all tend to bake their observations in their longer stories as opposed to quick hits on twitter. They want you to read their on-line/print stories.

You'll never get me to say there is enough coverage tho... they only get who the program makes available that day.

Right, they do the longer form stuff, but feel like they used to tweet a bit more from the practices. I'm less interested in special interest stories on offensive linemen than in knowing how our QBs look
