News travels a little slower to the midwest. :)

Also announced on Wednesday was a date change. UConn's game against Marquette at Gampel Pavilion will now be played on Wednesday, March 5 instead of the originally announced date of Tuesday, March 4.

The Big East Tourney is going to be on Peacock, too?!
I hate subscriptions, but I'll have to bite the bullet.
From BE website:

BIG EAST Tournament, Madison Square Garden, March 12-15
Wednesday - First Round Tripleheader 4:00 Peacock
Thursday - Quarterfinal Doubleheader Noon Peacock
Thursday - Quarterfinal Doubleheader 7:00 FS1
Friday - Semifinal Doubleheader 6:30 FOX
Championship Game 6:30 FOX

Not a very toddler friendly home schedule timing wise. Was hoping to take my 3 yr old to one of the cupcake games but they’re all relatively late starts. I guess the flip side is he’ll be asleep for most games I’ll watch on TV.
Yeah the latter is the real win. 8pm starts so much better than 6:30 tips).

Same, I usually take the kids to one of the early season noon XL. Disappointing it's not possible this year (at least for the men).

My only positive when the original split came out was getting my 3-year-old to the early weekend games. There goes that. I guess the brand exposure opportunity of a primetime slot on FS2 and Peacock was just too strong.

Respectfully, you are engaging in revisionist history. UConn played almost no games in Hartford prior to 1982.
Define almost no games. They played 5 games in the Civic Center during the 1976-77 season alone. Seven if you count the post-season. There was a gap I admit, when the roof caved in.

What's this with multiple games on Peacock ? Now I have to subscribe to this nbc streaming again ? Not a fan.....

I wish they chose Amazon Prime Video instead of this.

I will try to get tickets as hate Peacock and all subscriptions.

Just bought my grandson in Scottsdale a 6-game Arizona State package of 6 Top 25 teams:
Baylor
Houston
Arizona
Iowa State
TCU
Texas Tech
All but one is on Saturday. First year in Big 12--seems a very friendly schedule compared to what Big East produced for us.

Why Amazon Prime rather than Peacock?

2 months ago we knew this was coming.

Only because most people already have Amazon .

Count me as another person unhappy about the Peacock situation, I already spend $70/mo during the season to watch games and looks like I'll have to blow another $60 or so to catch those handful of games. Maybe the picture quality will make up for it because otherwise the feeds are garbage. We got 1 whopping 4k game last year but at least some were 1080p I guess but it's 2024 for crying out loud.

Yeah, yeah tv money blah, blah.

First Peacock game is Nov 30th (home game), then Dec 21st (road), and Jan 29th (home). We then don’t play on Peacock again until possibly the early Big East Tourney.

If you don’t go to the home games it would cost $30 to cover them all. If you do go to the games $20 for the season.

anyone find the 1 page pdf schedule that the AD usually produces? the "print" function at the MBB webpage is 8 pages

Yes, but the streams are so bad it makes me want gouge my eyes out. So bad I spend $70/mo during the season for YT.

I also have YTTV. But I'm not giving NBC/Comcast anymore of my money -- so peacock is out for me.

Hoping there will be a promo or something I can use…

Every August, Peacock has a special. $19 for the entire year. I hit it up every year, but I also watch a lot of Premier League on that channel, and they do also have exclusive movies of the month on it.
