The more I think about it, I think Bob Chesney is going to be in the mix. His base salary is $550k plus incentives, so maybe up to $800k/yr. (Hafley was probably making ~#3 million.) Buyout would be $1.75 million, but there is a clause about "leaving before a competitive season has completed" which would include unspecified damages. Apparently, he is under an MOU and not a signed contract. Seems manageable if BC wants him.

After the masterclass in bad play calling during the AFC title game, he may not be long for Baltimore.
It still seems like downgrade when he can go back to be a coordinator in the SEC or even B1G when it opens up.

Reliable sources already ruled him out. But it would be pretty hilarious.

I've always liked Jason Candle. BC should be happy if he's the one.

I gotta ask why would O'Brien leave OSU where he probably would make more as a coordinator than HC at BC? Al Golden probably would be their best best.
He would make double his Ohio St. salary and if he is interested in being a college HC again, BC would be a good place for him.

Honestly the more I think about it the more I want O'Brien to get hired by BCU. Just to screw over OSU more.

BoB to BC is actually a really good match. I would not be at all surprised if he’s there for a decade plus.

He's exploring Big Ten jobs... did he forget he already has a Big Ten job?

He’s trying to get rid of them before they get rid of him.

I think he ends up at Ohio State if BC hires Bill.
