First your truth about NIL monetization isn't accurate. The difference is that the way International players can monetize NIL makes it trickier, which impacts the potential value they can earn. So if Aaliyah's NIL deal is worth more than the average salary for a WNBA rookie ($ 75K - $80K is the guess), why wouldn't staying for an extra year to finish a grad degree sound feasible?
