6 and a third for Pat. He gave up some runs but solid job. Hopefully no need for Willis tonight. I would assume Kirby behind Coe, and hopefully between the 2 of them they can get 8 outs without letting drama back into the game.

If anyone needed proof that Penders didn’t want to go beyond seven pitchers, we have an 8 run leave with 8 runs left to get. If he wanted to protect Coe and Kirby, he’s give Sullivan a shot. But that’s clearly not in the plans.

So tell me…is the Cardinal hiding in the tree?

O.K., up 7 with 2 innings left. Curious whether they’ll let Coe try to finish, probably using him up for the series, or let Kirby and/or Willis throw not more than an inning and try balancing use for all of them.

Sullivan was warming up that last inning according to Chris Jones, he may be the next to come in.

BL, you actually thought about cutting out early?

So the 10 and 11 have already lost and 14 auburn is beating 3 Oregon st 7-4 going bottom 9…

Big out #1 with a runner on 1st. Giving up a run is fine here, I prefer us finishing this game with Coe going to distance to save other bullpen arms, but if he gets into trouble, call on Sully.
