Not that he was officially offered, but where did Taison Phommachanh end up transferring? I can't find anything anywhere... UConn doesn't really have a spot for him anymore but I was wondering...

Cincy's taking that next step... I thought we'd be there too, but we made horrible coaching hires after Edsall 1.0... Penny pinching moves that cost us (or at least slowed our progress immensely).. Hoping JM gets it right for us... AD David Benedict seems to have us on the right path...

Mora and staff strike again! This is obviously a nice addition to our defensive unit. This is a guy who was ranked the 24th best OLB coming out of high school, he has a ton of experience at two top level programs in Michigan State and Texas Tech and has been productive. Can only help us to get to where we want to be.
 
All eyes on May 1st just days away.

To that end, check out super senior Devontae Davis- 300lb DL from South Carolina in the portal. Has a fair amount of UConn coach interconnections include a very recent add by Mora.

Mora is determined not to go into fall 2022 being too light up the middle.

Cool. New targets will be making themselves known and I assume we may also lose a few. We can add up to 32 scholarship players in 2022 due to the waiver which allows an extra 7 scholarship recruits.

Not sure how many open slots we have given that we can go to 32. Exit 4?

I have us at 29 new scholarships for the year, but that assumes all 29 are counted towards 2022. sometimes they can slide Jan enrollees into the prior year cap.

That said, I think 3 more is the most we can expect for this season and I’m just guessing it will be a DL, OL and maybe a CB or TE.

Would be a nice pickup. Also see Mora recently following DL Casey Rogers from Nebraska and OL Israel Mukwiza from Alabama A&M. Mora's not following Jack Stewart from Michigan but Charlton, Sammies and other staffers are so imagine he's also on the radar.
 
Another kid we need to recruit that just jumped in the portal is FSU DE Quashon Fuller... before UMass scoops him up... they seem to have a little pipeline going from that spot...
