Check Zion Cheeks - (Spanos)

Also - are you not including any of the recruiting guys like Zyskowski, Harris, Kinkert, etc…?
Forgot to add Spanos back since he came back. Thanks for the catch! Was focusing on coaches but could definitely work on that. Obviously not much happening this week at home.

Strange… knew he was planning a visit after the dead period. Heck, I don’t even have him w/ an offer. This makes it seem like he’s committed but their track record for accuracy is shaky:

-> Chose UConn over South Alabama, where he originally committed. Had offers from Nevada, Abilene Christian and Mississippi Valley State. <-

Excited about the potential of the revamped QB room. A HS QB in this class would be nice too, but may be a tougher sell with two transfers coming in at the same time.

I see we are listed as an Official Visit on Jan 14 for Justice Ugo. Do we know of any other pending visits?

Boom

Awesome news! I saw that he had offers from Ohio State, Virginia Tech, BC, Rutgers, Syracuse, Maryland, UNC, and Kentucky out of of high school. Does anybody know who else was interested in him as a transfer?

Guess they are still on the hunt for that high school QB:

Treyson Bourguet is a 6-2 185lb QB out of Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson Arizona. Other offers from Arizona (Prev. staff - decommitted), BYU, Columbia, Idaho, Ohio University, Portland State and Vanderbilt (Prev. staff).

Older brother is a QB @ ASU.

Highlights

The truth about the QB position is that there are only 135 first team QB positions in FBS and far more kids that desire to be one of those. YOU can get one for every class and maybe a RS class too. If you bring in Roberson + Millen + the returning, there is plenty to sell a kid for being somewhere working and developing; particularly if Charlton has a good plan for how they advance. AS a development project, he is not expected to get on the field for awhile. The right kid can mature, grow, learn ... and be a valuable player in 2-4 years.

LIKE? Remember when we snagged Dennis Brown from South Florida. A solid kid from talent and frame. You hope he blows up after a couple years development.

Yeah, we ended the year with 1 healthy scholarship QB, Krajewski. We need what 5 guys?

Malik Hamm is a 6-3 255lb DL Grad Transfer from Lafayette College. Other offers from BGSU and WKU.

Highlights

Great quickness. Really like some of his lateral moves. In a number of sequences he moved so quickly laterally that he was able to avoid one or two O linemen and get to the RB or QB. Pretty unique moves to avoid having to fight through big linemen.
