Two pop up foul outs that inning. Not good. We are going to need to score runs more than one at a time.

Top 4th, bases loaded with 2 out, Casparius comes out, Will Lucas coming in to pitch. He has 2 appearances on the mound this season.

Suspect Penders is going with non freshmen on the mound in this one, the freshmen might get shell shocked by Notre Dame.

I’m shell shocked...I think they are too. Gotta finish this one and put it behind us.
 
You know it's going bad when you have to face Kavedas in a bases loaded situation twice and it's only the 4th inning.
 
Didn't seem as if Bushling hustled all that much down to first there.

Saw the score flash over the Fairfield game. Unbelievable. Guess I'll keep watching this one and check in later. Was really lookibg forward to a good game. Was there any opportunity to pull him before they got that far ahead?
 
Going to see a few guys who haven't seen much mound time this season in this one to finish it out for UConn. I admit I've been wanting to see these guys get a bit more mound time, but this one is out of hand right now and it could very well get a lot worse.

Could have pulled him at 8-1, but it still felt like we were in the game so I think it was the right call to try and get innings. Worth the risk/reward in saving the bullpen at that point
 
Top 5th, Lucas stays on the mound, gives up a run, 13-2 going to the bottom of the inning.
 
Save what we can for central Michigan. This game is over.
 
Was like getting sucker-punched that 1st inning even when you know what the other team has. Hard to recover from that.
