I know he's playing hurt but Embiid has killed the sixers on O in the 4th

How was this guy hired in the first place? Sometimes Mark Cuban seems like more of a parody than Russ Hanneman.from Silicon Valley, who actually is a parody of Cuban.
He's a legendary NBA gambler who developed systems to take advantage of things like certain ref biases, rest days, etc.

It's basically the same job of an NBA analytics person (finding edges from big effort data mining).

He was destroying Atlanta in the 1st half. Turned the game off and Atlanta made the comeback. What happened?

Embiid forcing on it every possession down the stretch in the 4th, coming up short on all of his jumpers and flopping when driving to the basket. This is where Simmons not being any kind of scoring threat really hurts the Sixers.

It feels like every series is coming down to injuries. Utah is probably not good enough to beat the Clippers without Conley, but the Clippers are going to lose someone important to injury if they keep going 7 games.

The Suns got a huge gift with the sweep. They may be the freshest and healthiest team left by next week.

No idea what his doctors think

Embiid looks like he should be shutdown. This team, with the way he is, is not winning a championship this year. Dont sacrifice your franchise player for this.

Philly is such a bizarre team and Ben Simmons is one of the most difficult to peg players I can remember. Embiid was a disaster, struggling physically and 0/12 from the floor, and Simmons takes one shot in the second half. I just can't get on board with this guy, despite all of his gifts. He is a deeply flawed player beyond his lack of an outside shot, though that would certainly open up the rest of his game.

The rockets were a cp3 injury from being the only team to ever defeat a healthy warriors

Agree. Maybe they win. But they didn’t.

He’s a great PG, but he’s not top 3 all time.

I’m on vacation in the woods so I missed both games last night, but I saw Embiid going donut for the 2nd half and I love that ATL has made it a series.

Really want the Jazz to win too, hoping for more Spider heroics but if they don’t make 3s they’re in trouble. They can’t just rely on Mitchell.

He’s 2nd in vorp, behind Stockton, no one else is even close.

Paul gets punished by being a part of some terribly run franchises

So, what does that mean? Is Stockton #1 on your all-time point guard list?

Never liked this train of thought because 1) it ignores that Iggy got hurt when the Warriors were up in the series and didn't play again and 2) the Warriors were going back home for game 6, if the Warriors take care of business at home I don't know how anyone can say with certainty who wins that game 7.

Harden supposedly is playing tonight, I hope this isn't another Anthony Davis situation, a hamstring pull isn't something to fool around with.

I think there’s a good argument foe Stockton, Paul or magic.

Magic has that Ted Williams effect of missed time that we have no idea how good he would’ve been or started to age.

But it wouldn’t shock me if he still fell short of Stockton but just barely.

But magic also played other positions so that’s a whole other can of worms.

But that’s the clear top 3 right now imo

I’m curious how Steph Ages.

He’s probably 5th for me right now behind kidd

But I expect that he’ll definitely pass him when he’s done barring a disaster

Are you serious Magic won 3 MVPs and 5 championships. Had the played past 91 he was probably done winning championships as the Suns Blazers and Rockets got stronger. Rumor actually has it that Magic would’ve joined Riley and play for the Knicks.

This has turned into a Giannis-KD battle legacies on the line. Suns are in great shape, Suns-Clips could very well be the finals as things stand now given the Nets and Sixers injuries who arent out of the woods yet in their series.

The Nets whine about PJ Tucker's "physicality", and he is physical, but he is also just really good defensively. Lopez, Tucker and Giannis is a tough defensive frontcourt.

This is where I point out that the nets had a trade exception big enough to absorb tucker in…..
