Obviously will take a 3 star where we can get one but do we think WR is really a need with so many few spots left and more pressing needs? I get we lost embry but he committed before the rb exodus.
 
Edsall still following - has a UConn offer... looks like a UAB lean.

You have to take him. Crazy not too. I think it’s far easier to play a WO RB and get production than find a WO WR that is a difference maker. As it stands, we have just Cam Ross as an established difference maker and a few other guys that might truly break out in 2020.... need more...
 
This one is a wildcard...not really clear what his choice might be. We could really use his athleticism as either a WR or CB.

I would love to see another older OL like Russell Baker sign. Comparing teams I don't see that many that scare me with offers, but does he want to leave the midwest/south and play. JUCO is a great route to get OL help now.
 
Housekeeping but I think Jay Brunelle (WR) - St John’s High School, Shrewsbury MA is commited to play with Notre Dame

Additional housekeeping, Joshua Pierre-Louis (#22 on the list), one-time silent UConn commit, committed to NC State earlier this week, per 247.
 
TJ Tampa is off to Iowa State... haven't seen news since he committed this summer that he was opening back up.

And just two last year in Mitchell and D Harris.

CT has become a state of prep kids on a pedestal and a lot of undersized FCS kids. Kind of a dumbbell spread. Lots of kids with the academics for the Ivies and sub Ivies...which wont work for us.
 
Looking at this list only Joyner and Rainey are non prep school kids.
