Long Snapper.... no likes or retweets from anyone on the staff, but a few staff members are following him

Nice find. I would imagine the circumstances he’s a PWO? 6-0 220lb from California attending IMG Academy (w/ fellow 2020 commit Carter Hooper)

Have you noticed we love South Carolina? Today UConn offered Omarion Dollison, a 5'10'' WR from West Columbia SC who recently decommitted from ODU. He claims a 4.41 40 time. His senior year stats are impressive at: 1910 Receiving Yards/88 Receptions/22 Receiving TDs/130.4 Receiving Yards Per Game

Other offers: Cincy, Charlotte, Colorado State, Mid Ten, EKU, Mercer, JMU, WKU, Kent State, Georgia Southern, ECU, Youngstown, Georgia State and Coastal Carolina. The Cincy offer is the most recent P5 from late October. He had been committed to ODU since late spring.

There are a lot of great athletes in the state of South Carolina. Given the population, it has to be one of the higher producing states for both D1 and NFL talent per capita.

Plus with the games scheduled in that region for 2020 and Clemson in 2021, gives Randy and Co. a chance to pitch a game at home/close to home for the family to come and see.

Jhaylan Shuler visited us prior to the start of season. There was some reason to think he might be a secret commit....well its clear that is not the case.

Looks like we've parted ways with him... if Twitter has anything to do with it..

Interesting that this came out a couple of days after the Fogle commit as both are OLBs. Schuler may have waited too long to make it official. Edsall has his numbers for each position and stays strict to those numbers.

You might also right RE Robert Lewis of Georgia (who also visited early Sept) v Embry & Marion.

we can’t tell who is a PRIORITY for Edsall & staff or the numbers. You can tell as a RB committed that the position group slid away in effort. You know that - most years - Edsall is watching OLine Senior play through 5-8 games before really gearing towards a few. LBs? I think we are down in depth ... so I’d think we’d see more. And who knows who was unexpected in the Transfer Game & how that’s gonna be plugged.

These are the areas where recruit class ranking are most questionable. UConn got Fogle who was unranked and will likely be the requisite 2 star. Shuler is a 3 star. The staff saw them and Fogle got the scholarship. Nice article on Fogle that I don't think has been posted. He missed half of his jr year due to injury which may have impacted summer camps and interest.

Apparently he had a visit at UCLA in March, he was just named the IMG Special Teams Player of the Year, and he will be enrolling in Jan for the Spring semester.

I'm guess that rowboat has sailed...

Sigh...the B1G in particular continues to raid the best players in New England. That wont change anytime soon. Joyner has a ton of potential.

People need to remember this when they say there is no talent in CT. UConn as the home state school needs to keep SOME of these kids. School just has zero buzz behind it.

UConn stands little to no chance against these teams in recruiting when they aren’t on a level playing field with the schools coming in and getting these guys.

Dan Orlovsky to Michigan State

I agree that this has been the struggle throughout our FBS years. Several at Penn State; Purdue has had a few as has Iowa; Rutgers Schiano's will be tougher going forward; Don Brown cherry picking New England; we've lost a kid to Northwestern. Then there is Syracuse & BC which ... the former emerged strongly in the last 2 years.

Until we get 30,000 regularly ... w that solid schedule getting better & better; this is a climb. Prep Schools - furthermore - are far more productive than a decade ago. It really is NH & MA ... and CT. And greater NYC

Thanks for having no interest in UConn athletics. Please see your way out.
