Let's hope the thaw is happening at that school...I'm a skeptic until they get a kid from there. Although his son at Greenwich supposedly is a fan of the program.

Wholley is a good ambassador down in lower Fairfield County. RE has learned from the past. We’ll see.

To me it's all about the P/GDL firing. They are his BFF's...guy is unbelievable. Hopefully Wholley can get foot in the door.

As much as I can't stand the NC football program (Marinelli allows the players to act like jerks), UCONN is not a destination for many from the town. They rather play at Trinity. More prestige at the water cooler for daddy and at the country club for mommy. A state school is beneath them.

Darien and Greenwich used to be the same way..but the quality of education has finally been recognized.
 
Conley was at the Big House for the Sparty game this past weekend (bye week for NCHS ).

I would have thought he was a 2019 but I thought I saw somewhere he was listed as a 2020. A really nice kid. Always smiling.
 
not that I was really holding out hope that he could stay home but with this offer it doesnt seem likely

Israel Abanikanda is a 5-11 185lb speedster (Athlete) from Abraham Lincoln High in Brooklyn New York. Was up in Storrs last year for Junior Day as well.
 
Kane was up @ UConn on a visit back in February.
