Since the Nike's are a well covered event it would appear that McLean's ranking will be rising at the next revisions.

It's also nice to see McLean play well on a big stage (in her experience).

Her revisions will rise because she's now recognized by everyone as a "UConn recruit" (that alone separates her from others) which gives her "spotlight" exposure, and the fact that she's living up to the hype. She's ballin!!! ;)

She knows that everyone will be watching her more critically now that she's committed to UConn.

Geno at the U18 Europe Championships with the Spanish team's coaching staff. Hope he took in the B division tourney with Okosun, Kuier, and Jessen as well.

Is Geno is networking here, perhaps trying to develop a “pipeline” for the elite players to go directly to UConn? Do not pass go, do not collect (or seriously entertain) any other offers. Nothing wrong with this. ;)

Milaysia Fulwiley – SC 76ers Black 17U – 2023

It is hard to overstate the talent of Fulwiley. She might be the best point guard that I have evaluated this calendar year outside of Sarah Andrews (TX). She has a mature approach to the game. She is equally competent as a scorer or a distributor, which is very unique for a kid at this age. Fulwiley has been on our radar for some years now, dating back to her time with the SC iDreams at #PSBNationals.

Geno and Shea watching Saniya Rivers. Hmm, odd considering she has stated she wants to beat UConn. Maybe our coaches are transferring!

I had a follow-up post to this saying UConn was only there watching Exodus players, not Rivers. Well here's a fun update. Jasmine Lister started following Saniya Rivers on Instagram today and Rivers is following her back.

Jasmine Lister is also now following 2021 super guard Kayla McPhersen who is ranked 4th by Prospects Nation and 15th by ESPN. McPhersen was a star of the U16 trials and nearly made the team. She is following Jasmine back on IG.

One more new addition to the Jasmine follows list: Piath Gabriel, a 6-5 forward in the 2020 class whose stock apparently is rising after a strong AAU stretch. Gabriel is ranked 88th by PN and was ranked but is no longer at ESPN. Jasmine is following Gabriel on both IG and Twitter.

Some info on Gabriel at this link as Louisville is in on her, if you can believe it.

granted this is a highlight video of her opponent, however, Gabriel has some work to do to play UCONN defense.

According to the Hartford Courant Saylor Poffenbarger, a 6’2” guard in the class of 2021 committed to UConn.

Let's pair Iwaszkiewicz with Makurat for the all Polish backcourt. Gabriel looks like she has no idea what she should be doing and almost looks disinterested in the game. Maybe she isn't interested?

An extremely extensive piece on Amari DeBerry from her hometown paper. Lots of stuff about her development.

Geno and Shea watched DeBerry---and Olivia Miles---in Chicago last weekend.

An interesting evaluation from Blue Star's Travis Ponton:

Talia Von Oelhoffen – 2021 – 6-0 – Guard – Northwest Blazers Orange – Wow factor…Finds a way to get to the rim…Gets lay-ups off even in traffic…Can connect on deep three’s…Takes charges…Gets fired up…Will play some point…Scoring prowess likely best maximized off the ball

Found this on VolNation posted by some guy named Guru who says UConn is getting two top ten players in the class of 2021and the below might be a hint about one of them.

From Azzi Fudd’s goals list, see the last On the Court item:

From Azzi Fudd’s goals list, see the last On the Court item:

That quote of Shea's she keeps was mentioned here previously. Also known that Fudd said a couple years ago that her dream was to go to UConn.

Still have my fingers and toes crossed re: Azzi. If Paige can't bring her best friend in, what good is she? :)
