2019 Recruiting Thread

So we lost Bryce Sebastian to BC. The offers on the books are below. Which is the best candidate of those we have offered and which is the most likely candidate we land?

Darrin Smith 3* 84.27 rated Frisco, TX

Josh Henderson 3* 88.24 rated Princeton, NJ

Aaron Young 3* 85.27 rated Coatesville, PA

We also got some other guys we can look at: (Did I miss anyone?)

Tyler Goodson 3* 86.78 rated Suwanee, GA

Deyvon Wright 3* 84.27 rated Huntington Station, NY

Khari Johnson 2* West Roxbury, MA

Julian Bass 2* 76.67 rated Springfield, MA

Bryce Harding unrated Brooklyn, NY

Nahzir Russell unrated Pennsauken, NJ

Keep an eye on Juwan Jackson from Piscataway NJ. He’ll be camping here this summer.

Gavin Muir (Greenwich CT Qb) and Moz Bici (Greenwich CT LB) visited Harvard and Brown....guess that is no surprise for lower FF County.

Muir is a 6'2'' 205lb QB who threw for 2903 yards with 33 tds passes and 4 rushing tds. Claims a 4.9 40 time. If this kid was 2 inches taller he might be a national recruit. Looked better than Drew Pyne (ND commit) head to head.

Thenn let's show him our facilities and try to introduce him to our top professors to woe him away from the IL.

Probably got an exclusive recap of the Penn State school visit including the option to walk in their exact footsteps.

All kidding aside, there is always a chance one or two of these kids are unhappy at some point and decide they want to transfer for back to the home state (or do a grad year here) and you want be in a good position for the fall back role if you don't continue with the effort now.

It’s all about relationships (both w/ players and coaches) and there are other kids w/ talent there that will get lost in the shuffle.

Absolutely, but I couldn't help making my post in light of all the Penn State momentum (word of the day!).
