2019 Recruiting: Thomas Allen (Sit One/Waiver?, Play 2)

Even though this breaks my heart and I hope he ends up staying.. if he's going to go somewhere I'd atleast hope it's here. Kid is an absolute sniper who fell victim to a not great offensive scheme lead by a lot of ball control by one or two players. With a year to sit out and develop he could legitimately be an all-conference type guy.

And, with Kenya now on staff (the guy who recruited him to Nebraska) and him playing with Sid Wilson at Brewster, I bet the interest would be mutual. Kid had some games he absolutely tore it up, like against Creighton and Purdue.

A lot of connections here like you said. Depending on how the scholarship situation plays out, I'd love to have him too. He was the quintessential microwave at Brewster.

With his shooting I could see him becoming a beast under Hoiberg if Nebraska could actually land him.

Huskers landed him over KU. He’s had some tremendous games in the Scarlet and Cream. He would instantly be our most potent offensive threat from deep and a fantastic addition to the team.

That being said if its Hoiberg I think there’s a chance Allen could be talked into staying. He’ll be the primary offensive threat next season as the team loses Palmer, Copeland, Watson, and probably Roby.
