I would keep Dunlop out the bottom of the 6th...and take him out at the 1st sign of trouble. Any outs we get from Colby from here are luxury.

As expected, Dunlop takes the mound for the bottom of the 6th.

Dunlop making a great audition for Friday starts next season. Gets the first two outs in the 6th.

He may be our only returning pitcher who’s even reached the sixth inning of a start...

Dunlop looks dominant vs. the top of their order in the 6th, gets them 1-2-3. Going to the top of the 7th, still 5-1 UConn.

UConn coaches have been talking about Colby Dunlop's potential for two years, he may be finally growing into it.

Please note people, his name is Colby, not Coby.

Nucerino pinch hitting for Gozzo. Good to get Gozzo a little rest, as he may be starting at catcher later today If UConn keeps this lead.

I think you're right. I believe Haus and Wang may have gotten to 5 innings once or twice.

Not complaining but you would think the Nebraska coaches would be preaching taking counts deep to pump up pitch count.
I would think this would be true of every team playing in these elimination games.
Teams have already burned through top two starters and some of their bullpen arms.

Prato singles, runners at the corners with one out in the top of the 8th. Pitching change.
