Bottom 2nd, scoreless inning for Dunlop. He's throwing strikes, so that's good news. 2-0 UConn.
 
Another pretty quick inning for Dunlop! I would take 5 solid innings from him, but if he can go further...

Looked like his hand got in barely. Tag was on hip but it was really close. Moot at this point, Dunlop has been very efficient thus far.

5 innings is all you can expect from Dunlop, that has been his limit in his good games. If he goes 6, he has more than done his job.
 
Dunlop with smart situational pitching. Throw strikes, pitch to contact and try to go deep.

UConn tries to steal a run in the 3rd, but ends up with a rather odd double play with an out at the plate to end the inning. 2-0 UConn. Play at the plate is being reviewed.

They are playing well and things have been going their way (for a change)... make ‘em make a perfect throw on an aggressive play.

Don't necessarily like the call, but I understand it. Christian Fedko is a slow runner and can be had on a double play ball.

I’m not a fan of bunting early in the game, but even less so with a good hitter and no outs.

Fortunately Dunlop looks very solid.
 
ESPN just had a nice plug about how CT as a state has three teams in the tourney this year. During the GT/ Coastal game.
 
Top 4th, a one out Phillips triple followed by a Chris Winkel bunt single which brings in the run. 3-0 UConn.
