OK - so, i didn't know ONE of the 14 mascots was supposedly a mix. Read my sentence again. It's a fact.

I can't find the article, but the artist who penned the "smiling husky" logo used his pet *Samoyed* as the inspiration.

"You don't know us at all anymore", if you believe we will stop debating this. (It's kind of BY meme.) It's like suggesting that we stop posting about pizza.

(You are right though the 1980, give or take, logo was based on the artists Samoyed. That doesn't change the school had had a white husky as a mascot since 1935 until Suzy randomly decided that they don't exist.)

Nope.

For the record I have no objection to using UConn. The notion of using it exclusively or ignoring Connecticut branding is bad marketing in my opinion.
