2019 Conference Opener: UConn @ Houston (Fri. 3/22 @7:30p ET, Sat. 3/23 @ 7:30p ET & Sun. 3/24 @ 12:30p ET)

Chase Gardner allows an infield hit, but gets two outs to end the 6th inning. Joe Simeone was warming up during the inning.

UH is very good at two things offensively: 10 foot singles and looking at strike 3.

Simeone gets two outs, then Penders comes out and makes what seems to be his customary two out pitching change. Caleb Wurster coming in.

Probably Winkel pinch hit for Gozzo assuming it is still a righty for Houston.

Have to think Thad Phillips playing 3B during conference games has got to stop for now. Play him there during non conference games if you want him to learn the position. Non conference games are when you experiment like that. I'd like him to D.H. for a change.
