Yawn. Women's basketball has more parity in it now than college football.

I was going to say the same thing. It's about the same as womens bball 10 years ago. Totally pointless except for 2 or 3 teams each year

The blowouts in these games, just way too many of them. The regular season blowouts are considered a part of the game but when it continues into Bowl games with matchups that should be more competitive it is reason to watch something else.

The bowl tie ins are dumb (I understand conference affiliation).

There should be a rotating order for the non BCS playoff bowls: for example one year the Poinsetta Bowl has first dibs on non playoff teams.

Big XII has almost no shot in these CFP games vs. SEC heavyweights. They can't field a team that can play defense. Another curbstomping of OU currently in progress.

Yeah, there needs to be an update to Urban Dictionary for "curbstomping" and cite the first half of this game.

Shouldn't really have much drip. Proper po'boy only dressed with lettuce and tomato. I'll concede pickle but there shouldn't be any sauces on it.

I've watched more non-UConn college football today than probably all season in total. (4Q of Cotton Bowl, Most of the Peach, all of Fiesta so far). Clemson just cut the tOSU lead to 9, has the ball with 1:55 left, and gets the ball to start the 2nd half. Key member of tOSU's secondary was ejected for targeting.

Could be a very entertaining 2nd half. Hope I can stay awake.

Agreed. It opened the door, and you simply can not open the door for a championship team like Clemson. I know it is cliche, but those guys aren't going away without a fight.

I am glad that Oklahoma got embarrassed. The Big 12's scheduling is a joke, and the CFP deserves to be ridiculed for believing that it is a major conference whose champion was deserving of a bid to the CFP. The CFP went full popularity contest and invited an Oklahoma team that had not been tested.

The Big 12 does the 9 game round robin, and the entire league only played 10 major conference opponents OOC, and the Big 12's BEST non-conference win is KState over Miss. State.

The CFP has to eliminate FCS opponents and require more inter-conference games, or it will continue to get surprised like this in the playoffs.

That is an opinion, but who knows? The conferences do all they can to protect their champions, and then hope the PR campaigns can do the rest. College football is a joke. One step above professional wrestling.

The targeting and roughing the punter penalties were totally the difference in the game. Both led directly to Clemson touchdowns. Massive mental mistakes by Ohio State.

Most physical game I have seen In a long time. OSU screwed themselves trying to block the punt. They would have had good field position.

Outside of Oregon and maybe USC this year, the Pac 12 is pretty much on par with the AAC. The Big XII had Baylor and OU rightfully in the top 10, and OK State ranked as well.
