The school can pay for one official recruiting visit during a recruits senior year, which must be one of no more than five designated official visits for that recruit to up to 5 different schools
I could be wrong but I believe NCAA rules only allow a paid visit in the senior year of HS since that's the year you can officially sign a LOIIs it really only during their Sr. year? Many recruits have verballed by their Jr. year and if they sign LOI during early period (November), it doesn't leave much time to do up to 5 official visits during their Sr. year. For the class of '18, almost the entire top 100 on some recruiting lists have already signed.

Great second half for Azzi Fudd against national power Paul IV Wednesday to lead St. John's College to the win.
Fudd finished with 27 points.
I believe a few years ago the NCAA changed the rule to allow Official Visits to occur after the HS season had been completed in their junior year. This specifically has to do with the changing time frames of recruiting and commitments - the fall signing period used to be termed as teh 'early signing period' with most recruits only signing in the spring of their senior year, then more kids started signing in the fall and now it is rare for rated recruits to wait until the spring, and most recruits have already committed before the end of the summer.I'm not sure either. If that's the case, then the VAST majority of women's recruits are not taking advantage of their possible 5 official visits. I just don't see how they can squeeze in 5 trips between the start of the school year and the early signing period.

Hailey Van Lith ('20) poured in 36 points in Cashmere's easy win Thursday.
OK, I thought of Banks from Duke, but I didn't remember his name being Gene. He had an unbelievable physique. I think he was one of Coach K's first great recruits (after Alarie, Bilas, and co. I think).
Wow! She is incredibly mature, well-spoken, and basketball savvy for a freshmen. On top of that, she can ball out.Azzi Fudd talks about her big game last night:

From the first moment I saw her at the U16's I said to myself, that girl is nice nice. She has good body control for her age. A real ballers mentality. UConn perfect.Ok, I'm calling Geno tomorrow. We are getting Paige if it's the last thing I do on This earth This earth! The girl can flat out play! Looks like it's in her DNA and it comes easy. I won't compare her to former or current WCBB players because I dread doing that but I will say her game has swagger and attitude. She will only get better on the big stage!
