here's the last of the Boston/ND posts for those concerned:

She looks awfully happy!! What’s up with this new trend posting with uniforms why on official visits? Does Geno and UCONN do this? Is this were recruiting is going? Seems to me it’s all a show if u ask me.. but then again my opinion means nothing

it's actually been going on for a while now............I find it a bit distasteful but apparently many players like it...........fortunately UConn doesn't do it..........

As I recall, 2 years ago MW looked really good in an ND Jersey, so much so that a number of BY’ers were convinced that she was going to end up in South Bend, right up until she announced that she was heading to Storrs.

This past year many were convinced that CW was heading to SC and ONO to Duke right up until they were heading to UConn.

Have faith my friend.....

I don't see anything wrong with it. Maybe UConn should do it: "Check out how you look in this" could be pretty powerful. Maybe they do it and just don't photograph it. Maybe they don't do it because sometimes they might not want to offer a scholarship after the coaches debrief following the visit.

Tenn loves to post pictures of prospects in orange arm in arm with the coaching staff. Looks just like those ND pictures. For practically all of them it's the closest the LV's get to signing a truly elite recruit.

Didn't ND post a slew of photos from their mega-palooza recruiting weekend last year? I remember lots of photos of all sorts of players at a football game. ND has about 7 or 8 football home games a year. I've heard from grads that they are great parties if the Irish win and about as lively as a wake if not. If I was a recruit I'd want to know what goes on the other 43 or so Saturdays.
Anyone who thinks that Fudd or Bueckers are going to pick a school because of it's football program are playing solitaire with a few missing cards. Those ladies live and breathe basketball which is a minor sport in S Bend.

I just think the recruit is there to get a better understanding of the program not for a marketing opportunity............I'm not sure if the coaches ask the player if they want to do it or if they simply ask the recruit to do it............if it's the later, what if the recruit is not comfortable doing it? Are they actually going to refuse the request of a big time coach?

OK BY’ers. Here’s a task I know you’re up to. Somebody start a thread with pictures of recruits in team uniforms, t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. at schools they decided not to play for. I’m guessing there’s a bunch of them out there that I’m too lazy to go dig up. But I’ll surely give an enthusiastic “Like” to any such picture you guys post. :)

Far too lazy for a full thread, but here's one:

With Horston, Jackson and Cooke.. this is the first year I've seen pictures of SC recruits in the uniform before actually committing. I was under the impression that we didn't do that but I guess Dawn wanted to switch things up. I thought that was an interesting change to see.

Davis, Westbrook, Williams, DaCosta, and Hayes? Tennessee got 3 of them and still has 2 of them.

CW appears to be having fun, as does Aquira, but neither wanted to go there.

I read somewhere Hailey Van Lith updated her “schools” page on prospects nation. I am not a member so I’m not sure the schools.
