2019/20 UConn Recruiting

Did you hear the part about her outscoring the other team by herself? The level of competition she's playing against, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. She doesn't need to go out and score 50 points every game, but she probably could come close to that.
I expected that the competition is lacking for the top players. It's like that in most parts of the country. You should see Florida. My comment was tongue in cheek.

My bad, my sarcasm meter malfunctioned. Yeah, elite players are going to outclass the competition, but she would be much more challenged if she was at a 3A or 4A school. Playing at 1A in Washington, she's probably not going up against any D1 prospects, and if there are only mid to low major level of players. But obviously she goes up against the best on the AAU circuit.

.-.
Hailey Van Lith scored 35 points while hitting five 3's Saturday (12/1).

A question for the board and the mods. Since the 2019 class is now disappointingly in the books, who thinks we should end this 200+ page thread and start a new one for the '20 and '21 classes?

Was thinking I might make one, but wanted some feedback first.

from McGraw's Bench
"Alli, Anaya, and Alli sat together, wore green, and cheered politely for the Irish. Maddy Westbeld was next to them and I believe Ari Wiggins sat next to her. Paige and Azzi were seated in the same row, but farther down. There were a couple of recruits who also appeared to be guard size, but I did not recognize them. One looked similar to Abby Prohaska, but I don't know who she is. I didn't see anyone who looked like a potential post player."

I'll be interested to see the results of this game (behavior, poise, and use of freshmen more than result) on the potential recruits of both programs

It was a hell of a game and I don't know if we will ever know what the recruits will take from this night. We have a new superstar in the lineup that will win many games for us.

If I was Bueckers, I would say to myself, I can come right in and start as a freshman with 3 potential All Americans in Williams, Walker, and Nelson Ododa.
