2018 wins needed for NCAA bid

Dallas Baptist, a bubble team, makes it. Things are not looking good for Central Florida.

lol they couldn't resist Huskies/Huskies. I'll take it, tho. A bubble team from a weaker conference than our own, and a top seed we already beat on their home field.

It's funny how the NCAA always finds a way to ream the American... UCF should be in.

Huskies vs. Huskies Friday at noon. I was hoping for a start later in the afternoon so I could listen to it driving home from work. Rats.

When your RPI is in the upper 30's/40's you are living dangerously if you go winless in your conference tournament. That is the case for UCF.

4 teams in for the AAC.

I was at the Norwich games, it was very good. I believe about 5,000 people attended on Friday night when UConn played. Interesting side note was that in 2010 UConn was not the No. 1 seed in the Norwich regional, but they still got the opportunity to host.

Just passing on something...... Have a friend who is AD at an ACC school....says if the Dunk was available (Yard Goats are at home next weekend) could have been the difference. While Norwich was good in 2010, there were some logistical issues for teams with hotel space and a couple other things; Hartford woulld have eliminated those concerns.

Washington RPI is 63.
They went 1-2 v ECU
They ended the season playing pretty good ball...
They did take 2 of 3 v Stanford to close the season, swept Utah, took 2 of 3 v UCLA, ASU,and WSU.

Can't give the AAC more bids than any of the Cartel conferences.

It actually happened in 2015, when the AAC got 4 bids, and the Big 12 got 3. Who knows when the next time will be.

I call BS on hotel space being an issue in Norwich. There is probably more hotels per capita in New London county than anywhere else in CT due to casinos, mystic, and other tourist traps.

Ya. It's called sarcasm.

Actually, I've been quietly hoping that the AAC can get more baseball bids than the Pac 12 one year. Just one of those thing, they do come close. Don't expect it to happen, but I keep waiting.
