Hahn now 214...was hoping for 225 here.
Gardner now 236 which is good..I think.
Garson just 213 at 6'7''. Sure seems like TE material rather than DE.

I agree, I thought Scott and Hubbard did not see game action last year. Someone with more time than I today could try checking all the participation reports from 2017.

We're going to need to play a lot of true frosh next season and when I look at that defensive roster I shake my head.

Honestly, I try to be a positive fan, but next season could be absolutely brutal.

We probably won't be good. We're a super young team. I just hope we win 3 or 4 games and get a lot of burn for our freshmen and rs freshmen so we can be better next year. 2019 we could be a decent team.

I believe it’s a typo - they are listed as RS Freshman in their bios.

Edit: They appear to be fix on roster now.

I'm not as pessimistic but do understand your worries. RE has recruited some great incoming freshman for the DL and LB corp.

I believe it was said that their role on the field will be unchanged, and that this is just an administrative move.

The quote was the role is "similar" not unchanged. I hope the D is being tweaked because it sure needs some tweaking.

Fortt at linebacker might be a mistake, I mean a 189 lb linebacker? Terry I can see, he's 6'4" 220. The roster also listed 6' 4" 285 lb lineman Noel Ofori Nyadu as a defensive back. Lol

Well - lets see what happens this year. I'd like to think that this "Husky" position is part of a plan to tweak the philosophy and mentality from having a 3rd safety that plays some linebacker to a 4th linebacker that plays some safety.

I think Edsall asked Kevin Ollie from across the hall to type up the roster in his spare time.

Based on this quote, could we see Beavers on the field with 3 other LB's? We will have some promising athletes at LB next year, if the goal is to get the best eleven on the field....

Give Hahn till Pre-season camp..he was around 200-205 last season..he gained 10 lbs in about 3
Months.
