Looks like a toss up between Ole Miss, Purdue, Iowa and Kstate with Uconn as the true dark horse.

But if we land Rayam this weekend i’ll be happy with that. Rayam picked up an offer from FAU this week.

I'd be ecstatic with whichever LB we get between Rayam and McDonald... Rayam reminds me of Lawrence Wilson (another AL native)... probably a little better..

I think you are fantasizing if you think UConn has any shot at McDonald. Hope I am wrong. Looked at Rayam's 247 page. A quirky positive thing to like about him is that he is only 17 years old and wont be 18 until August. Most southern FBS talent has at some point been held back a year and are 18 if not 19 when graduating. Rayam still has some natural growth and development left. Redshirt him a year and he will be a much improved player.

There is no shot at McDonald particularly since its now clear he is visiting other schools all the remaining weekends until signing day.

Of note: Turner took an official visit to Kentucky last month, Eastern Michigan this past weekend and has Colorado State scheduled for next weekend.

His tape, while maybe a bit short, has several strong open field tackles and so he looks like a DB that won’t be physically over matched.
