247 shows that Uconn is in on him and is “warm” also his highlights show up on the cbs sports ap on the Uconn page. Anyone know anything about him or if we’re actually in on this kid?

There was an article not that terribly long ago that quote him as saying UConn, Xavier, Cincy and Illinois were recruiting him the hardest.

To the extent you can tell anything from a 20-second video clip, he looks like a decent-sized wing/shooting guard.

If he is a shooter...the follow up question is...do we have room for him?

.-.
Jones shot 31.8% from 3 and 75.6% on FT in EYBL play. I wouldn’t call him a shooter.

Good video on him. Shoots slightly from the right, but it’s not a bad looking stroke. Slasher type. Great length for a wing and seems like a solid athlete. Easy to see his upside. On first look, he reminded me of SMU’s Jarrey Foster.

Rivals has him 86th, 247 has him 119th.

Not exactly up against Kentucky, Kansas, and Duke for this kid. Let’s go get him. I can only imagine the negative recruiting Cronin will do against us. Have we ever really been after the sane kid?

Kemba.

Numbers bring reality.

YZ- In control of things (1990).

He looks good but we need three point shooters. Is he any different than Sid?

Nice body, good handle. May replicate Sid but we can use two of those. Some people have asked about playing Polley and Larrier at the same time, Sid and Tevian would be a step up on that.

This is looking like the Dimon Carrigan situation. He has no officials set up yet. Hope he can be eligible

How's Carrigan doing academically? Does he need 2 years of community college?

The fact that he went to junior college would seem to indicate that he was a non-qualifier.

That’s a two-year stint automatically.

We can’t have too much of anything at this point, sign me up. I think this confirms Larrier is gone tho

Yes. That entire video looked like slow motion.

I don’t think this does, since we seemingly are barely on this kid, at least from what we can tell. But I think Larrier is most likely gone regardless.

I think Larrier wants to leave badly, but I also think he expected to be playing much better. Wouldn't be shocked if he decided to come back.

I'm assuming him and JA are gone until they decide to stay, but I would be ecstatic if they both came back. AG (take 3), senior JA, TL another year removed from ACL injury, Sid coming off RS year, Whaley/Diarra/Carlton with more experience, plus Akinjo as another ball handler to relieve JA and Matthews Jr. to give a pure shooting threat on the perimeter.

The key for that team would be Adams becoming a knock down 3 point shooter. If he can do that at the 2...the team will be very competitive.

Impressive ole skool hip hop knowledge. Used to love "In Control of Things", smooth beat w/ that horn blaring in the background made in extra funky.
