2018 Open Championship

Whelp - after Friday, I never thought we'd see Spieth in the final pairing. After yesterday, I never thought we'd see Tiger in the 3rd to last group. Being 4 back with 5 guys to leap, he's going to have to shoot around 65 in windy conditions. It's doable! If he does get out to a good start, the roars from ahead may put some clench in the last two groups.

The winds will be up so that will make everything more interesting.

All that being said, it's hard to bet against Spieth at this point.

It's Sunday, putts are coming up short, wind is in their heads and Phil is dressed like he's either going to paint a house after he finishes or give a sermon.

I logged in twenty minutes ago to bet Pepperell and he wasn't listed as a choice. Molinari was +1000.... would have been a nice number on Eddie.

Tiger your current fave on 5dimes

20 mph winds.

Tiger has been perfect but just hit a green side bunker at #8. An excellent lie he just chipped to 4 feet from hole.

Spieth is wobbling badly. Gave one away last hole and now is in a bush. Dropping a ball now.

.-.
Jordan and Michael may come to blows today.

First, when the swing assessor's start mentioning the position of knuckles its time to just stop listening seriously.

Tiger now in 1st through 8.

Speith just bogied and then double bogied on #6.

I will live to see NBC ratings meter by the minute when it comes out. Millions of viewers globally being added every few minutes.

Same for whatever #'s are trending on Twitter.

Fairway bunker, 15 mph crosswind, Barry burn crossing in front?

No problem. Dead aim at pin.

I wish we could pay an extra fee to avoid any commercials. The drama here is shaping up to be phenomenal, especially with Rory entering the mix.

So, my 14 year old daughter walks by TV as Tiger is teeing off on 11.

She says, "Tiger? That's a weird name. Is he any good?".

.-.
Wow to what is shaping. Good day to be sick and laid up.

Tiger about to bogey or worse at #11. (He d/bed it).

Lead is -6. 4 way tie.

I think Spieth roars home.

Tiger seems to be fatiguing, Jordan seems to have collected himself and getting a 2nd wind. I’d be really happy to see either of them win. Huge Eagle by Rory there! He has great momentum right now.

Tiger very bad decision going with the flop and not just banging it up for a par Hope bogey worst. Prior to his double-bogey 2 hole stretch he was losing his swing as you could see so he was scrambling anyway. Doubt he gets back in it Molinari is tough as nails.

Molinari came into the BO red hot. Two wins and two 2nds over last month.

Have to give him credit he hung tough even with people yelling in his swing lol

Molinari, Stenson and Fowler.

Tiger said fairways are faster than greens.

Dry summer, rock hard ground.

Weather always unpredictable.

Read same thing about Thurs morning / Friday afternoon tee times have better opportunity for decent weather.

Nice call on Molinari.
