no he wont be but Peart isn't inexperienced either, he started all 12 games for us last season.
... and Foley has three times as many games played. Always room for improvement but he got out techniqued by a veteran.
No. Stay strong bro!So.....14-1?
As I said from time to time last year, Knappe was a huge offender in this area. The guy was a man mountain but had guys stand him up routinely.this is exactly what i was talking about with Peart, he plays so high, doesn't use technique or leverage to gain control. he has a long way to go.
Certainly a little frightening to hear that, but I respect RE's honesty. A coach needs to be honest. No BS.
We had six combined years of the stupid twins and Crazy Bob. We know Edsall is a good builder which would suggest he can also rebuild. But, we simply cannot expect much this season. There is simply too much to address with depth and new schemes.
Diaco, more than anything else may have screwed the roster. His recruiting was always a head scratcher to me. I never understood what he was trying to accomplish and now I'm pretty sure he didn't know what he wanted to accomplish.
Really shouldn't come as a surprise to hear any of this. The roster is a mess. Diaco recruited at a FCS level. We had a lot of posters claim it was mostly coaching (and a lot of it certainly was), but we just don't have the talent right now. This is gonna take a while.
Fatukasi versus Peart

We need some kids up front on O to develop into maulers.. the don't take no kind..Holy Cow!! Fatukasi owned Peart.
I'm not going to disagree with you, although I don't think we have any idea what level of talent we have. Diaco clearly couldn't develop players either. I hold out hope that there's something to work with, because we were actually competitive through the first 4 games of the season against three FBS opponents. I know too of them were awful, but at least it's something to keep me from utter despair.
Did he ever take a 3-point stance? As I said from time to time last year, Knappe was a huge offender in this area. The guy was a man mountain but had guys stand him up routinely.
Doubt it. Amazingly slow and awkward.Did he ever take a 3-point stance?
