So we know Shirreffs is at school and wants to play. If he leaves spring practice thinking he won't play next year, we will have to see what he does. But I can't imagine he's going to run away fraidy-scared because a QB who has never taken a snap at the FBS level shows up wanting to take his job.

This guys highlights are great! Very quick release, good judgment about when to throw, uses the right amount of loft when needed and leads his receivers almost perfectly! Then you add in his running speed and the fact that he's got two years of college ball already under his belt! Wow...what a get!

Honest question, with him coming in and possibly Shirreffs coming back. Is Williams able to red shirt his sophomore year or is he burnt because of last year? Unsure how that works if a redshirt winds up committing to play during the red shirt season.
