when he got offered by ND I knew we lost him then.
He's another one who's recruitment took off after we offered. Pitt, ND, Indiana, GT, Washington State.

Wow. We have a ton of private school kids that have been offered. More than I have ever seen. The admissions standards must be getting more and more stringent.
Right in my own back yard. This school pumps out D1 kids yearly. Carter Stanley whom UConn offered I believe last year saw time with Kansas this year at QB.Michael Smith @cantguardmike11 2m 2 minutes ago
After Talking With My Family, I Have Officially Decided To Commit To The University Of Pittsburgh #H2P #PittIsLit
Hopefully we get some commits this weekend. Elliott Brown is apparently scheduled to visit according to TOS. And Blackshear is supposed to come up, date TBD. Anything else we know about?
I think there will be a lot of surprises and covert activity. It will be interesting to watch the social media of the kids that hold current offers from the previous staff to see if they wander in for visits. I would imagine a few may have also received calls about their previous offers and are quietly looking for options based on some tweets/retweets/subtweets I have seen.
Garrison Burnett@___nosirrag6 mins ago
Been blessed to say that I have received an offer from UConn!! #GoHuskies #GloryBeToGod
Garrison Burnett is a 6-0 190lb CB/DT QB from the Maret School in Washington DC. Other offer from Army, Navy, Air Force, Wofford and Stony Brook.

As a QB and a DB, Maret’s Garrison Burnett is proving he can make and break big plays
Aman is reporting that Burnett will be visiting Storrs this weekend.

I think it was Aman, but maybe someone else, who said we are recruiting this kid as a wide receiver. He's fluid and racked up a ton of yards and TDs as a scrambling QB (49 in the air and on the ground). At 6ft and 190, the kid looks like someone in the mold of Beals who is 6'1 and 185. Similar level of agility.
6'1 is extremely short for a FBS OL.. could he be recruited as a long snapper?
not true at all, NFL centers on average are 6'2 1/2. ill take a savvy undersized lineman over a lazy oaf any day.
Centers do seem to be much shorter than the other O-line positions.
Chris Elmore is a 6-0 270lb DT from Philips High in Chicago Ill (Q. Skanes' alma mater). Current offers from Syracuse, Buffalo, Western Michigan, Central Michigan, FAU. Miami Ohio and Wyoming.
“Western Michigan is still there. They are still one of my top choices,” Elmore said. “Syracuse is in there and I’ll be taking a visit there this weekend, UConn has also gotten into the mix a little bit and I’ve been talking to their new coaching staff.
>>With UConn introducing new head coach Randy Edsall late last month, Elmore is just starting to familiarize himself with the Huskies, but a former teammate of his is already in Storrs. “I’ve talked to Quayvon (Skanes) about it and he loves it there,” Elmore said. “He is on a good road, so hopefully he will be playing a lot next year because he redshirted this past year.”<<
Junior Highlights - Chris Elmore
Correct. I played at 6'0" and 285. Mostly guard but at center as well.Centers do seem to be much shorter than the other O-line positions.
interesting kid, hes a bit small to play DL but a bit big for DE, for sure has great speed and tremendous get off, beat most OL off the ball on those plays, showed great handwork and technique fighting over blocks and shedding them to make the tackle. also great play recognition, if he can put on some weight he could be a great DT for us.
Coach Grimes putting in work on the trail...
The kid has a great arm. Some of the throws he made to the middle of the field....WOW.Dr. Phillips QB Marvin Washington decommits from UCF
Guess who's following him today (wasn't last night when this first broke).
