Does this go into effect starting immediately or is there a later date set?? I agree that if UConn sits back and doesn't say anything, they and many G5 schools will be risking a loss of many of their recruits who have strong interest from P5 schools but have remained committed to UConn, or said G5 school, so far.

UCONN still needs another quarterback in this class, but that is looking less likely day by day.

Last year we had a pretty big push toward the end. Maybe we find some guys.

Taking 3 walk-ons does not give me a warm comfy on a big push, unless he has wrapped up a bunch that we did know about.

Not many leaks on who visited this weekend.

Yep. Not good. Holding out hope, but not looking good. We not only need a quality starter, but we badly need quality depth at qb.

Big weekend are the next two w/ the 23rd being the one where all the current commits are there...

Walk-ons are no harm no foul as they don't count towards scholarship cap and we need bodies to get up to 105 roster spots.

I don't GET YOU GUYS. This is ALL GOOD.

Diaco has 22 Verbal Commitments. Might go 25/26. Doesn't have room for that many. Three solid Preferred Walk-ons that can help ... given a good UConn history with Walk-ons is solid. We might slide a few that fall to us before February. This is not a bad thing at all. Unlike Edsall, Diaco was almost complete a month before the LOI date. Did not go fishing in the late water.

Wow... Honestly thought Carter Stanley was ours to lose...not counting on that Johnson kid to come here with the decision we just made with the walk on QB... I pray the kids we currently have are working on their own to build rapport with the offense really hard... if not, next season could be a carbon copy

I did as well. Kansas didn't even reach out to him until Friday and he committed on Sunday. He is now taking his official to Kansas on the same day he was supposed to be at Uconn, Jan. 30th.
