Now that the P5 has made their full cost of attendance announcement, if the UCONN plan is to compete at highest level in all revenue sports which I believe it is, then heading into last two weeks to signing day Warde can not sit back and monitor the situation as he did when Louisville beat us for the ACC bid, a strong announcement of our intentions has to be made within next few days as we are at a high risk of losing any of our commits with P5 offers. As of last night the landscape changed as it is no longer an even playing field as to what schools can offer financially. Objectively would you tell your kid or player to take a one year offer from a G5 school, whose silence by school or conference shows an uncertain future instead of taking a four year guaranteed scholarship with a stipend.

Taking 3 walk-ons does not give me a warm comfy on a big push, unless he has wrapped up a bunch that we did know about.
Not many leaks on who visited this weekend.

Welcome to life in the G5. Expect more of the same as we go forward.Wow... Honestly thought Carter Stanley was ours to lose...not counting on that Johnson kid to come here with the decision we just made with the walk on QB... I pray the kids we currently have are working on their own to build report with the offense really hard... if not, next season could be a carbon copy
I did as well. Kansas didn't even reach out to him until Friday and he committed on Sunday. He is now taking his official to Kansas on the same day he was supposed to be at Uconn, Jan. 30th.Wow... Thought that we had 5 more.I don't GET YOU GUYS. This is ALL GOOD.
Diaco has 22 Verbal Commitments. Might go 25/26. Doesn't have room for that many. Three solid Preferred Walk-ons that can help ... given a good UConn history with Walk-ons is solid. We might slide a few that fall to us before February. This is not a bad thing at all. Unlike Edsall, Diaco was almost complete a month before the LOI date. Did not go fishing in the late water.
Article on Ulizio and UK interest from earlier in the week (before Cincy throwing out offer that was reportedly declined). Hope Davis is on the case and we are talking to his HS OL Coach about the opening @ UConn

Saw a mention that he picked up a Michigan offer this past weekend... as other dominoes fall, teams are moving down their lists to next man up.
