And now Butler is trying to one up Creighton's collapse against Georgetown from earlier in the season, although that last charging call was bogus as hell.

What a collapse by Butler. And now Roosevelt Jones has fouled out.

Temple and Cincy both escape.
We were down 2 starters in Farad Cobb and Shaq Thomas. Caupain had to play 38 minutes and Evans played all 40.

Brice Johnson over Poetl and/or Uthoff
I think he's got a strong argument for sure, but went with Poeltl & Uthoff because they're both clearly the most important players on their respective teams, while I think Paige is arguably UNC's guy.

EDIT: FWIW, Poeltl is killing Tarczewski & Arizona right now.

These would be my all American teams

1st team

Hield
Valentine
Brice Johnson
Simmons
Uthoff

2nd team

Gary Payton
AJ Hammons
Poeltl
Josh scott
Kay Felder

3rd team

Dunn
Jameel Warney
Pascal siakam
Finney-smith
Jj Frazier

I suspect Kansas's run of Big 12 titles will be coming to an end in the next couple of years. Shaka's going to do great things with UT.

Texas has only lost twice at home all season. They've beaten UNC, Iowa State, West Virginia, and now Oklahoma (Kansas comes to town Monday).

Definitely a signature win.

Rick Barnes coaching performance with Kevin Durant stood as one of the biggest screw ups ever. Thankfully for him Jones with Ben Simmons at LSU is making a strong push to overtake that.

It also wasn't Durant and a bunch of nobodies. His point guard was DJ Augustin and Damion James and AJ Abrams were very good college players. Rick Barnes was a nice guy but his coaching was kind of tragic.

Shaka is a good coach. He could build them into a powerhouse there. They always recruited well. If they are well coached too....
Vandy is hanging tough with Kentucky early in the 2nd half right now on another note.

I had forgotten another good win Texas had: Vandy, a game they won pretty convincingly.

Purdue beats Maryland by 4 at home. No court storm.

And fwiw, Stanford are up a half-dozen on UCLA, late. Both of these teams need the win to get near the bubble, but UCLA's closer than Stanford, so I'm rooting for the Cardinal.

I can't see how either of those teams gets into the tournament.
