Texas is an experienced, talented group with size & depth. Three top 75 recruits in Roach, Davis,& Mack will all contribute right away

The freshmen add firepower to this team. Texas

Senior Demarcus Holland could be the teams best perimeter defender. Brings a consistency to the court on both ends of the floor.

Former Espn top 50 - Kerwin Roach is known for his world class athleticism. What people don't realize is that his jumper is underrated

I want to embarrass them on their home court. I'm still so bitter about Holmes' shot.

I think Cincy is being underrated
I don't. They're always a tough and experienced team, always play good defense, and will turn every game into a rockfight, making them able to beat a lot of teams on a given night. They're "underrated" every year.

But when your team in the last 15 years has gotten to two Sweet Sixteens (2001, 2012) and have won two conference tournaments (2002, 2004), I see no reason to see them making much noise when it matters.

This will probably be it for UConn on this list. 3 in the top 100 ain't bad. I think Purvis and Adams will be top 100 players by season's end too.

Ranking the nation's top backcourt but it really is the whole perimeter to include wing players. We fall outside of the top 10...seems like more locker room bulletin board material.

Also two scheduled opponents in Michigan and Maryland ranked higher here. Looking forward to proving these rankings wrong on the hardwood in those games.

It's hard to like Nic Moore, but it's easy to respect him as a competitor. He is fun to watch and fun to hate so it's really a shame that he's had so much go wrong during his career.

Ah preseason rankings. The most fluff filled fluff since fluff.

Remember him as a freshman in the tourney game against St. Joe's

Yea him and his hair did an admirable job on Bazz for MOST of that game.

Hm. I actually like Borges' top 25. He's got us placed quite fairly, and he's not quite as high on the freshmen at Duke and UK. He's also high on Oklahoma; I know they have Hield (sp?) and I do agree that he's great, but who else? Didn't Spangler graduate? I'm also not as sold on Michigan St., but you can't discount Izzo. Also think he's selling IU a little short. That backcourt of Blackmon, Jr. and Ferrell will be lethal.

OU should be very good this year. Hield is a potential AA and I believe Spangler is a senior (could be wrong on this). Isaiah Cousins is also a very solid guard.
