It kinda is, but Bazz and especially Boat used to do it a lot so its grown on me. Its like a defensive equivalent of taunting or showing intensity in a physical manner.

i was at this game in 106 behind the basket Webster was dribbling towards. One of the funniest moments at a basketball game I've seen in a long time. Crowd had a good laugh at that one for a while
