"UConn is my first 1A offer so I'm pretty excited about that," said McAllister, who is 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds. "After the camp, their running back coach, Coach Buggs, told me to stick around on the field. They then walked me upstairs and I sat down with Coach Pasqualoni."
The interest that UConn has shown in him during recent months has caught McAllister's attention.
"I am definitely going to look a lot more into UConn and out of all the schools I've been in contact with, UConn has reached out to me the most," said McAllister, who mentioned that he would likely take an in-depth visit to Storrs in late July.

DE Bedell to Rutgers. Had a UConn offer.
Commits to Pitt...
>>"Grimm also held scholarship offers from Arizona, Baylor, Boston College, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Rutgers, USF, Temple, Vanderbilt, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Akron and UMass, but he always favored the Panthers. He was considering some summer visits and possibly announcing his college decision in January, but after camping at Pitt on Friday, he knew what he wanted to do.
"I thought about how I've been liking them for a good bit and I didn't want to take anybody else's time," Grimm said. "I figured, if I want to go there, then I should just do it so another school can move on to another recruit. I just wanted to make the decision and make it easier for everyone. "<<
i have yet to see it posted so i'll go ahead and drop the news.
dintino to pitt
basically every new england kid accept marchi(only other offer was temple) has gone acc so far...dintino was a ct prep school player from mass. love the strategy with him.....
of the 125(tosR has almost every one listed now) offers out heading into camp this weekend, about 70 are still open and only about 10 of those have shown anything public with uconn even being on their radar let alone a top list school.
carry on
Damn,Pitt had a very slow start but their picking up momentum?Mike Grimm's dad Russ was a NFL and Pitt C in the 80's is young Mike a center too?Dintino is a MAJOR blow!I thought PP was such a great local recruiter?I hate to say it but we need a major name HC to create some buzz! What's up in the AD?They can't be this naive!!
@All us oldtimers figured he'd go to his famous father's Russ Grimm alma mater as a legacy guy!Who don't want to make dad proud?NFL dad!
Buddy you are a Rutgers fan. This act is getting old. Are you really HFD?
why does everyone think i am trolling? man. the mods here can see names and that info needed to know its not me. im not some rutgers junkie. this is too good. guys commit elsewhere so lets blame hfd for something instead of the staff and the leadership. classic boneyard scapegoat.
God damnit Dan, can't you see that without you UCONN would be rolling with 4*s?
Well..............has it fallen off since he shut down his twitter?
;-)
Except Russ Grimm is not his father - troll...
