Glad to see Dayton on the schedule. Coach Jim Jabir was the coach at Providence that gave a certain young assistant named Carla Berube her first coaching job.
that will be a fun game to watch. Dayton has been an up and coming team the past few years right? plus it's always fun to see UCONN go against a team that has a player they recruited at one point or another...He's a good coach. BTW, Ally Malott, whom Geno recruited, will be a freshman for the Flyers this year.
Once again Geno has scheduled 3 Saturday-Monday games with all 3 Monday opponents being non-conference and ranked (I assume UNC/OK will be ranked top 25), and 2 of the games are on the road. He's scheduled this way for the last 3 years at least and it is terrific preparation for the NCAAs. I'm not aware of another coach who schedules this way in the middle of the conference schedule.

wow st. johns ??? syracuse ??? rutgers????? west virginia ??? tough cames c'monn...... uconn will beat west v and rutgers by at least 15pts minimumYou have them all and were astute to include St. John's and Syracuse.
perhaps but doubtful. the BE is going to be tough this year. Rutgers especially. they finished 4th last year in the big east - they came on strong at the end, and while they lost little, they gained a LOT. great freshman class. altho they did lose Chelsey Lee for the year tho which is a big blow.wow st. johns ??? syracuse ??? rutgers????? west virginia ??? tough cames c'monn...... uconn will beat west v and rutgers by at least 15pts minimum

i think Georgetown will be a tougher game than SJU or Syracuse. but i'm not an expert on the rest of the big east. i do think UCONN, ND, Rutgers, L'ville, Georgetown, and WVU are the upper teams. Depaul, SJU, Syracuse, Marquette and Pitt are the next eschelon, and Cinci, Providence, Seton Hall, USF, and Villanova will be in the basement.

I recall a lot of Big Monday games when UConn showed up BIG and the other team showed up small.
Let's continue that tradition!
