AEH was generally a 1 dimensional player whose 3pt shot is not like it was last year since McCowan cant collapse defenses anymore. But Bibby seems to not be the answer either imo and cant get open either. Very slow (maybe the injury after effects?)

Cooks will be starting next year. Bibby simply is not the same player coming off the injury, her mobility is lacking a lot and her shot seems different.

Aliyah, Madison, Rickea, Jessika(year older more mature), and Sidney Cooks could be awesome next year if coached properly. Three McDonalds All Americans.

Sad to see that with Bibby. She was looking really good before her injury.

Some of the comments on here are so childish and immature. Schaefer is still a tremendous coach and Staley has done a great job.

Today , I kind of saw this coming. You could sense that USCe was going to come out blazing and they did.

State team while talented is flawed and I would argue that Schaefer has actually done a good job this year by covering up some of those through the year.

We should make the SS but an earlier upset is not out of the question. EE would be considered a great year IMO.

SC should win it all this year.

Miss State will be a better team next year and I sure would not want to see them in my bracket this year.

I wouldn’t be surprised either way. C Bibby is a great glue player as she plays physical and does a lot of little things like throwing good inbounds and setting screens. In a couple of recent interviews Coach Schaefer said S Cooks is going to play with her back to the basket as well as on the perimeter. He raves about her ability.

Oops. South Carolina tried to get too fancy on a 3 on 1 fast break and got the ball stolen.

It must be nice to have the SEC tournament in South Carolina every year though. What would the score be if this game was played in Southaven, Jackson, or in Biloxi I wonder??

It was 66-52 USC in Jacksonville, FL
It was 62-51 USC in Nashville, TN

;)

SC looks great. Super quick team. IMO opinion though, they will have a game somewhere in the Tourney where their shots don't fall and they will have to win with D. That's where their youth will be tested. Right now though they look unstoppable.

I wonder what did AEH say to Vic that made him absolutely hate her this much?? Whatever it was he needs to get over it. She should be ran off of double and triple screens to get her some open looks.

2 players that Vic indicated he was counting on this season, Bibby and AEH have had almost zero impact from the 1st of the year, onwards.

Miss St's freshmen have been carrying the team. The lack of upperclassmen leadership and play hurts them significantly. Mingo Young, matharu and Rickea are a bright future of Miss St but they still need some help

At least SC has Harris, Harrigan and other veteran bench players to lean on.

Pressing USC and playing them man to man is idiotic. Baylor and Oregon will throw a zone on them to surround Boston and force them to knock down threes to win. Oregon will beat them by at least 20

I think SC has the ideal blend of veterans with youth. Especially with a four-year starting point guard who's been the model of consistency and leadership. And these 3 freshmen make up one of the best rookie classes I've ever seen. Perhaps the best ever.

Jordan would be awesome at PG had she been starting and playing the position all year. Forcing Danberry to play shooting guard in a back court with Myah Taylor all year has been downright idiotic....LOL

Its an insane class. You are correct on nice blend of upperclassmen and youngsters. You need some type of guidance/steadiness when working with a lot of freshmen.

One thing is clear, Boston and Rickea are some of the best players in the country already as freshmen. Excited to watch both continue to grow.

Miss St should still hold their heads high. They have a good team and bright future. Still a lot left to play for. Best of luck to both teams in the NCAAT. The real journey begins.

When did Jacksonville, FL or Nashville, TN become a part of the state of Mississippi??

When where they ever part of South Carolina? If anywhere in Mississippi wants to host, they should bid on the tournament.

This. South Carolina has talented and alpha dog seniors at point guard and power forward. They have been incredible in maintaining a steady pace through the season. It also helps that A Boston has an uncommonly steady demeanor for a freshman.

Funny, I saw her getting rebounds and blocking shots. Not sure what "jack" is, but rebounds and blocks are valuable basketball plays.

I hope SC fans realize this is a troll MSU account and takes this poster with a grain of salt. This poster has been nothing but trolling and trying to stir the pot.
