Pathetic officiating does not change the fact that USCe is the better team this year.

Our defense is not the problem. Scoring 26 points after almost 21/2 quarters will not win you any games. Some of it is their defense and some of it is us just missing open shots.
Plain and simple
 
South Carolina is just amazingly dominant this year. So much depth, so many options, and a great point guard running the show. This is more like I expected the first game to play out. How did MSU play so close in that game again?
 
Throw a zone with length on the "dribble drive" offense and it becomes pointless yet Vic continues to run it anyway instead of putting shooters around the zone...LOL
 
Nice game SC, clearly showing why they are the #1 team this year so far. Superb play
 
After the game Vic will claim they got blown off the court because his players lack "toughness" which shifts ANY blame away from him...LOL

They played much better than this on both ends. SC is playing at the top of their game today. Miss St looks like deer in headlights, and are getting run out of the gym on both ends of the floor.
 
Wow, a fast break any UConn fan would appreciate. 4 players touching the ball without a dribble. I don't feel so bad about our SC loss now. :oops:

Vic needs to dust of his piranha story
 
We have officially been awful all day. I hoped we would keep it close but know S.C. is better. Still, they are better than this but wow, this is probably dawns best coaching job
 
Myah Taylor was a three time Mississippi player of the year...three times...that just lets you know how poor the talent is in the state of Mississippi as far as female basketball players are concerned. Victoria Vivians was truly an exception.
 
Tip your hat to SC, they have played a superb game. Miss St has not been able to put it together on either side of the floor. Missing a lot of layups and open shots, Meanwhile SC getting to the basket at will.
 
MSU has been very up and down. Their game at SC may have been their best of the season. This is one of their down days.

When was the last time a team in the SEC went 19-0? Tennessee's undefeated season in 1998? You gotta tip your hats. SC really brought the goods.
 
Miss State needed to keep their edge out of the locker room and it doesn't seem like they did that in the 3Q.

AEH was generally a 1 dimensional player whose 3pt shot is not like it was last year since McCowan cant collapse defenses anymore. But Bibby seems to not be the answer either imo and cant get open either. Very slow (maybe the injury after effects?)
 
In a game like this were USC is playing a zone Bibby, AEH, and Aliyah should have combined to attempt at least 20 threes by now yet Vic instead keeps Myah Taylor and Mingo out there...LOL

Chloe isn't as mobile. Really affects her game.
 
Wow I just realized that the regional will be played in the same arena. That's gotta be a huge advantage, not only the proximity but also now the familiarity.
 
Game like this should have been zone vs zone and which ever team knocks down the most threes would win instead Vic kept his non shooters in the game against a zone defense...LOL
