Here’s a recent snapshot review on Jeremy Lucien from NFL Draft Bible’s Ric Serritella:So, basically one DB, Lucien, separated himself enough to be listed as a starter.
Also, when have we played 2 different half backs in an offense that doesn't even feature a fullback?
Good stuff here... Lucien preparing to be great.... Rooting hard for him to take a major step for us at the CB position....Here’s a recent snapshot review on Jeremy Lucien from NFL Draft Bible’s Ric Serritella:

I don't remember us ever doing this, always had a fullback, unless Todman and Dixon played in the same backfield??

CB's both with real good size. When was last time UConn had two CB's both 6' or taller and 180+ lbs?
A larger seed of uncertainty ... Will they kick or will they throw.A certain HC currently employed in Tuscaloosa uses the starting QB as holder all the time.

It wouldn’t surprise me against Fresno stateIt just occurred to me that Edsall gave us a two RB starting line-up with only two receivers. It will be interesting to see if we actually use this old fashioned look.
Brewton as a receiver out of the backfield? Burns as a fullback?

The ORs are classic RE - not giving away anything. Unless he is hurt, you will see McCarthy. Also, since it will be the first game and hot in Fresno, you will see 1st, 2nd and maybe even 3rd string guys to beat the heat and get acclamated to the heat.
High of 102 on sat
uh oh... I'm still real excited about K Marion as a part of that WR as well... Hope we're giving opponents problems from that position all year long... and beyond....Also, not related to the two deep per se, but hearing Randy say the Darious Bush’s recovery is going week is great news. I expect him to play like a more physical Cam Ross (that’s no knock on Ross!) when up to full speed by end of the season.
SK gets flattened by the DE...breaks collarbone, JZ gets annihilated by DB...snaps his ankle. Who is 3rd string? Thank goodness your not calling playsFirst offensive snap from scrimmage I want JZ in shotgun and SK in the left slot. Put SK in motion, snap the ball the JZ. Have JZ do a handoff to SK, who runs it to the right, stops and throws a pass to JZ over in the left flat.
Who was the starting QB? JZ takes a snap and does a hand off but SK gets the pass attempt.
Fortin must be injured. Someone mentioned his leg was wrapped at the open practice. Hopefully it is not a long term injury.

More like thank goodness you're not calling plays.SK gets flattened by the DE...breaks collarbone, JZ gets annihilated by DB...snaps his ankle. Who is 3rd string? Thank goodness your not calling plays
Nevermind that, why will we still have the same PA guy afterwards?SK gets flattened by the DE...breaks collarbone, JZ gets annihilated by DB...snaps his ankle. Who is 3rd string? Thank goodness your not calling plays
who knew?? - Heights are displayed in the four-digit format used by the NFL. The first digit represents feet, the middle two digits represent inches, and the fourth digit represents eighths of an inch. For example, a height listing of 6024 would represent six-feet, two and four-eighths inches. Here it is. It it going to change 1000 times before the season is over? Probably.
Still, lets not let that stop us from Boneyardin' a bit.

Since they are similar quarterbacks...I don't see the purpose of this. Let the starter get in a flow. I am not saying they should never play a second QB..,they need to get some work in. But as a strategy..I don't see why you alternate two similar quarterbacks.I believe we see both qbs game day
Agreed. But it will likely be performance based and whether or not the O is moving the ball down the field.Since they are similar quarterbacks...I don't see the purpose of this.
