Not too long ago, Chris Jones was talking about Woodworth's excellent defense at multiple positions, and suggested that he might move to center field next season with Stefanski gone. For my money, I would leave him at 2B. His defense there is something.

I agree leave him at 2B or 3B

This serves to highlight that UConn needs Cate back pitching and Gardner back to full strength so that the starters can go deeper into games.
 
Brutal double play. Memphis has pitched well, and we certainly have not done a good job hitting the ball hard.

Fedko's offense has been trending down for a while now, not nearly as effective at the bat as he was earlier in the season. He could be back on the bench once Phillips is healthy.
 
Two scoreless innings for Dandeneau. Joe Simeone has been warming up, so he might be in for the 8th.
 
Hunter Smith having a great day, easily sets UConn down 1-2-3 in the 8th. To say that things are not looking good for UConn is an understatement.
