McPhee with half court shot at half time buzzer. Pulls Stanford to within 6 46-40. McPhee looks so skinny but she is a tough nut with a good overall game.

I heard them talk about how Tara had joined Summitt and Coach K in the 1000 club. Did they also talk about coaches who might get there this season? (Sorry, my listening ears have been off and on this game.)

5 boards to go w/ her 17 points. She's a scrapper. She kind of reminds me of Jamie Weisner from Oregon St. a couple years ago. Might be a little taller but similar physique.
 
How many inside sets did tOSU run? A ton of jump shots and some offensive rebounds and baskets. If they are the consensus #1 Big 10 team what are the other teams like?

It's no secret that the Big Ten is the weakest of the so-called Power 5 conferences.

Maryland will be down this year, but how much down? Hard to say. They'll get Christinaki in December and she should help them a lot.

Michigan will be decent. They won the WNIT last year, they got their two best players back, and they're hungry. I expect them to make the NCAA tournament.

Rutgers is a completely different roster this year. They might be decent, but who knows.
 
Maya Dodson will be a star for Stanford. Impressive athleticism + effort.
 
Kudos to Mavunga for really dedicating herself to nutrition and fitness. She's really trimmed down.
 
Miserable start to the 2nd half for the Card. Mavunga is just killing them on the boards, already has a double-double. 54-42.
